Final Summit in Paris 2018

The EIT Food Venture Summit is the 1st yearly Business Creation global networking event, gathering the main stakeholders and actors from across the European AgriFood innovation community for matchmaking, and celebrating the EIT Food Business Creation activities.

This one-day invitation Business Creation event was held on Wednesday 28 November (09:00 – 19:00) at the state-of-the-art venue Station F in Paris, a 34,000m² start-up campus that gathers a whole entrepreneurial ecosystem under one roof (the world biggest StartUp campus).

The 5 most innovative ideas among the GFV project proposals were chosen and rewared.

At this inspiring and interactive event for the AgriFood industry from all over Europe, èarticipants could meet with major corporates, StartUps & ScaleUps, investors and experts.

This event in a nutshell, or, better, in three key-points, was an opportunity to:

  • meet our first cohort of Agrifood StartUps and ScaleUps (RisingFoodStars and winners of the EIT Food Accelerator Network -EIT FAN),
  • engage with the business and financial venturing ecosystem
  • learn about the entrepreneurial ideas of the Global Food Venture Programme (GFVP) and finalists of the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) programme
